Good lord what a disgusting misrepresentation of data and polling. 538's rating on Trump isn't "trending up and will continue while Obama's stagnated", Trump has consistently hovered around 38%-42% after the rub of the first 100 days ran off and until we see more evidence of an increase, the trends show it will stay around that. Obama meanwhile hovered around the 46%-50% his entire first year, with dips and peaks depending on events.

Meanwhile comparing 538s model to RCP average is completely stupid as well, as it doesn't use the same polls and weigh them the same. RCP has Trump sitting with an average of 41.6. The average of Obama's second term was 45.9. The ONLY time it dipped close to where Trump is was during 2014 where he still beats Trump presently.

Just, such a bad use of stats and polling
