If you just walkout of school and nothing happens then everyone forgets about it, if you have to suspend hundreds of kids per school, and thousands across the nation, that's when change will occur. When protesting one makes a sacrifice these kids are just going to go home play games or do something fun with their time. The only effort they would put into it is just spam a Facebook/social media message to all their friends who also skipped school.
