You gotta love their hypocrisy though. A woman can kill a baby in her womb and progressives can threaten horrible violence against Trump supporters and an NRA speaker at a town hall.......but guns are bad and our children need to be protected.
Its almost laughable how they can't see their own hypocrisy.

The NRA is about one thing. Money. Its about keeping the gun industry alive. Its like a corporation. It doesnt feel, it doesnt care about your rights. It only exists to keep profits flowing. Even the people working for it are only cogs in the machine. If a Constitutional Amendment existed that prevented them from selling more guns then theyd work to have it obliterated. The NRA does not care about you, they only care about how much youre willing to spend.

I want to be able to buy firearms and I want to not have that right infringed. The NRA's interests align with my own.

His post is extreme, but at the same time he's not too far off.

It'd be foolish to think the NRA has lasted this long without making a dime.

I've mentioned this before but I used to work for a company that anodizes uppers and lowers; every time a mass shooting happened the bosses had a big assed smile on their faces because production/demand would spike like 500% due to the fear that guns bans were going to happen..I mean c'mon, if it hasn't happened by now, who could be so stupid to think it every single time and attack happened? Yet and still, production would boom cause these idiots were going out and buying firearms in droves out of pure fear.

Guns will never be taken away from the people, but the people are too stupid to understand that and the NRA knows full-well that fact. Fear = Profit when it comes to guns and the NRA and most of our countries politicians are swimming in it because of us.

You say, without any shred of irony.

It's actually dumbfounding that you probably believe this. The NRA's only funding come from private donations and spends something like 1/200th on lobbying as unions do.

Trump is a horrifying monster that knows no nuance. I'm not saying he should label the NRA evil Hitler clones or that they are that, but there are so many contentious issues surrounding positions the NRA have pushed that deserve consideration, but nope they appear to be for me politically, label them patriots and excuse their wrong doings / ignore possible wrong doings and pretend it never happened. It's not the NRA spreading fear of gun bans. That would be the mainstream media using crying kids to push gun control policy.

When's the last time you saw the NRA funding an ad campaign to push for gun control?

Why would they that would go against the ideals of the NRA.

Really why is it so hard for you to believe that kids who just went though violent shooting would be for gun control? Why do they need to be shills paid to do so using questions given to them by the evil mainstream media? The media doesn't need to use the kids they are motivated enough by what they just went though. Sadly that does not serve your world view so you reject that it's even possible.

Guess the KKK falls under the same definition. Patriotic isn't necessarily good and shouldn't be used to defend an organization. You know damn well Trump is just trying to say NRA = patriotic, and if you disagree with them, you're unpatriotic.

Personally I have more of a lobbying problem than an NRA problem. I'm not aware of their activities beyond lobbying, so I'll only say we should strip them of at least that power (as well as any other organization). They can fear monger all they want, I don't care.
