I just skimmed some topics but it looks normal. A topic about Ivy for example where people are praising how she looks and not getting banned for it exists there now.

I see a pattern here. Every time a discussion site dies in a spectacular big crash where everybody's feelings are hurt and the media gets involved, there's a period of death of the site... and then those who remain out of habit keeps it alive but now has bigger leverage on the site.

As Picard talks about how a courtroom is a crucial in which you burn away all irrelevancy and you're left with the pure truth, same goes for giant ordeals in general. You really get to see what the site truly can be after it dies.

That being said, NeoGAF still retains that Evilore guy, so I dunno what's going on
