That they're another group of people we'll try to box in and blame everything on as they get older i.e. the Millennials ruin X rule.

Um.... this didn't happen with every generation. The greatest wasn't blaming every ill on the world on Boomers for instance

(Also, not surprisingly, Millennials started it, absoltely ungrateful bitches that complained about the Boomers, so then all the previous gens decided to level these entitled worthless pricks for what they are.

They're lazy and they lack both discipline and respect.

Which is something I'm sure older generations said about my group as well.

I've read about rumors and "studies" that run the gamut - with many claiming that they are more conservative than Millennials, more practical regarding money, and more ready to "hit the ground running" in the labor market.

I feel this is largely propaganda. I do not trust teenagers to be confident in their political ideals unless those ideals were hammered into them by parents. They often lack a lot of perspective.

Also, the only reason I would consider them more practical with money is because fads nowadays are technology-based, meaning that they have a more considerable base cost to them.

And as Gen Z is hitting adulthood, they are seeing a much better economy than when the last of Millennials were hitting adulthood, ~10 years ago.

I do believe that they will be a more socially liberal generation than Millennials, but potentially a more divisive one as I see socialism and libertarianism taking off with them.

There is a general disrespect for school in a lot of them, which I think is bred by education advocates being unhappy with how things currently are, and by education detractors being what they are. Smart students grow up knowing how to find things, how to get answers from the web. Less-smart continue to resent a system they do not thrive in.

They ARE harder to teach... but I think that is an opportunity to revise educational practices. That might not happen though until Gen Z has broke into the teaching field. Y and Z together can bring about change, I feel.

What generation would children who are aged 11-14 belong? So much of that generation just doesnt care about playing outside anymore and they are so attached to their tablets and computers. I see it at work all the time. I probably see about 100 kids a day so I have a pretty good sample size.

yes, which is why saying that all kids born in the '90's are Gen Y is dumb. Making the cutoff at an arbitrary point like the turn of the century is dumb; attaching it to some actual event that could actually make a difference is, while still somewhat spurious, actually rooted in some sort of reality and could provide a useful context.

You know full well I meant wide spread. Yes, every generation is going to have situations like that between generations just cause obviously not every human in a gen is the same, there were some bad apples in the greatest obviously, and I personally can't stand virtually every other Millennial in the world.

But I mean a wide spread inundating of destruction from every generation that came before them.... that is a millennial only thing.

It's not a well defined generation because the speed of progress that we tend to define generations with is too fast. There's a massive gap within 5-8 years that wasn't there in most prior ones.

So I'm not sure how to answer the question. Like the absolute youngest, those 5 let's say? Or teens? Even within teens it's a huge gap but there's major differences between 22 and 15 that isn't age but experience with social media and the like.
