It's usually just a matter of backing up the save file in its location and moving it to the other computer, so pretty simple. The hardest part is finding out where the save folder is but the most common location is either somewhere in My Documents or somewhere within the game's installation directory.

For KOTOR specifically, I'm actually not sure. There's a GoG result that says it's within the game directory, but I can't find much to do with the Steam install of KOTOR1.

Looks like it's in the directory no matter where you get the game.

Yeah there should be a folder named My Games. Just copy the save files, or the whole folder.
