As a kid, I dreamt I had a Sega Genesis game called Underraptor. It was a Vectorman-like game where you played as a velociraptor in red boxer shorts.

I also had a dream about a 16-bit Mega Man game with a dragon boss. When you dropped into the room where the boss fight took place, the dragon's silvery wing would become visible before the rest of the dragon. This was directly influenced by Ridley's eye becoming visible before he does in Super Metroid.

I've had two Legend of Zelda dreams. One in which I discovered a secret area in which a man with an automatic shot Link dead on the spot. ("Has Miyamoto lost his mind??") Another in which Epona revealed herself to actually be the goddess the horse was named after and took on her true form as a beautiful redheaded woman.

I sometimes have dreams about characters being in Smash Bros. that aren't really in the game.

I was so hyped about Sly 2 Band of Thieves and Halo Reach coming out back in the day that I dreamed of playing their entire opening level the day before release lol.

I've also had two dreams about immersive Grand Theft Auto worlds where you enter into the game in a Matrix-like first person style.

The first one had the video game world suddenly turning into the real world after I'd rammed a cop car off of a bridge. (Uh-oh!) The other had me breaking the game's rules to track down and defeat a boss I'd lost to on a previous play-through.
