I think the biggest case against a new game is that it says 2018. Even if they somehow worked on this for a long time, Smash generstes hype like literally nothing else and no way they'd only reveal a new Smash the same year it came out.

it can be improved but it may cost Shulk/Cloud/Mega Man/Bayo... I guess potentially Sonic but nah he'd be a lock

The problem is Sakurai doesn't really like adding stuff from newer Kirby games. I dunno.

(Technically BWD first appeared in Super Star, yeah, but he didn't really become a "character" until later.)

Toys to Life are dead in general, Disney Infinity ended years ago, Skylanders might as well be dead since it looks like Activision abandoned it after underwhelming sales for the last two games, Lego Dimensions is probably not gonna last much longer either (or maybe it's already dead, I'm not following it I just still see it in stores.)

There's also some new Shovel Knight Amiibo coming this year, but that's about it.

I mean Amiibo is still crawling along, but Id say they did way less with their figures than almost anybody else that was part of the market...

Also looks like a ton of posts so I either gotta dig through to see what I missed or find the video on YouTube

Eh depends on the Amiibo, some like Mario and Zelda ones have cool uses and a variety over diffrent games, some are almost worthless like Boxboy and Chibi Robo.

Also I just remembered that the Monster Hunter Stories amiibo never came out here even though the game did

3DS stuff

Detective Pikachu - I actually thought this was a Switch game, but I guess not? Might be interested.

Luigis Mansion - I liked Dark Moon and never got to play the original.

Bowsers Inside Story - already played this and have 0 interest in Bowser Jr so I probably wont ever feel the need to get this, but its a good game.

Switch stuff (dont have one still)

Kirby is always a good time

Okami - damn another release? Good game though

Octopath - looks kinda neat

NMH - oh hey more Travis Touchdown

Some of the ports seem fine too. Still waiting for Tokyo Mirage Sessions though dammit :(

Your Splatoon region is tied to the actual game the differences are more tangible - namely... Japan has different Splat times and different Splat events.

Like even though my copy of Zelda is Japanese, it still displays everything in English as if I got the game here.... but Splatoon specifically doesn't act the same.

Oh and on the topic for Kirby Star Allies, so freakin' happy to see the return of Gooey and Marx!
Honestly, playable Marx is something I never knew I wanted.

Please bring him in the new Smash Bros, Sakurai.

(Though Bandanna Waddle Dee is still acceptable)

Not counting the fact that Gooey is actually a Dark Matter. (No, seriously, Gooey's a Dark Matter that ended up friendly and goofy.)

I hope it's a port with add-ons. Smash 4 has plenty of great content on its own, plus they wouldn't bring Cloud back again.

Like if they just port Smash 4 and add Snake, it's a win.
