Those who I remember listened to 80s rock were never given any shit for it. But then that stuff was barely 5-13 years old at the time. Even a lot of popular 70s music was under 20. It seems like everything in the 10s here has just been sucked towards the cosmic singularity that is the "pop shit" sound. Rock is pop, country is pop even rap has moved towards pop. I was seriously just having this conversation with my brothers the other day. What will the music of the 2010s be remembered as? It's all identical, generic, pop sounding garbage. --- FFVII Remake: A disaster in the making.
