I was actually surprised with how restrictive California Law is when it comes to proving groping. I disagree with this premise, and I'd argue that myself and people on my "side" have been arguing for criminal justice reform as it pertains to cases of sexual assault for decades. You may have a point about the social shaming and societal reaction, although we'd likely disagree on the cause of that, but this sadly seems like a case of needing more reform in the law, again.
