Yes. loony or not, he deserves prison for this gruesome killing No..if mental illness is proven, he needs therapy, not prison View Results 23 y/o Elf Freak, Anthony Priestas from Indiana viciously beat and stomped 2 PUGS to death because a girl he had a crush on wouldn't date him and rebuffed his advances!! He's been charged with 2 felony counts of animal cruelty for killing her 2 pet pugs belonging to Brandy Ortiz Brandy says she remembered "a male subject who has been trying to date her but she has stayed off his advances" The pugs, named marley and mugsy were stolen on February 21 from her home that she stays at with her parents in Winfield. She was at class at Indiana University Northwest while her mom was grocery when the burglary occurred A female neighbor said they saw a "short kid with dark hair" break into their home at 10am and then taking the pugs out.". She said the suspect walked out and looked at her while he held the pugs as they were struggling under his arms and he we walked to his car. A half hour later, another homeowner saw Anthony "slamming a canine into the ground several times and began stomping the other pug"!!. She also saw him beat the dog with a black object and heard the animal "screeching in pain". The woman called police immediately and opened the front door and screamed at him to stop hurting the dogs. She said Anthony looked up at her with an "angry look" and threw the same dog into the water and then sped away on his car The pugs were left for dead in a rural area as police found their bodies in a water filled culvert..
