Not really sports stuff unless it's especially an LA thing.

Something like cowboy hats for Texan cities would be what I'm looking for.

I don't think there's a particular thing that people associate with LA. I think people just think of fancy clothes like at the Academy Awards, or things that surfer dudes wear. Either extreme, I guess. Even though not everyone is a famous Hollywood person or a surfer, or want to be.

But you have to admit that a lot of people in LA are passionate about their teams. And honestly, I see more sports shirts and such than anything else that would be stereotypical of LA.

Then again, I didn't see anyone aside from tourists walking around with I <3 NY shirts in New York City either, so I don't know.

I'm not sure about that. I can't recall people talking much about teams outside of when they do especially well. I know some people really like the Dodgers and Lakers, but I don't think they like them any more than like New Yorkers like the Mets, do they?

There is a specific era of rap that I associate with LA; NWA, Eazy E, Dr. Dre, and so on. So the clothes they wore in those early days are what I associate with LA, mainly the hats, specifically the Compton hat that Eazy E quite often wore.
