Part 3 is up! Only one episode left to crown the winner. We de-rail pretty hard and talk about Animorphs and Goosebumps because we're all 90's kids and need to fill some time. But it's pretty entertaining anyway!

I enjoyed this episode a lot. Throwing in some hidden star information was really cool.

We have a few ideas we were tossing around.

The Sims - Various points for completing typical growth. Stats in certain hobbies, average wage, love, house worth, etc. With some hilarious bonus stars involving the Neighborhood, which we would populate with other people from our TQ team. Make Lando cry, bang Tarvould, steal from Mike, etc.

Advance Wars 2 - MonoBattle. If you're not familiar with Mono Battles, its a game type in RTS or TBS games that restrict players to only using a random single kind of unit. We would always allow for Infantry. It would be a water-less map of course, and transports/infantry would be removed from the random pool. This one im leaning away from since it's a multiplayer game already, and we're trying to spice up Single player games.

Halo Combat Evolved - Race. 10 missions, each of us on a seperate Xbox. But one of us is playing the remake, and the other the original. 1 star per mission beat first, along with a bonus Star that the commentators would give us for each mission. Still ironing out details for that one.

We have some other rough ideas as well, but we're definitely wide open for suggestions.

Halo and Sims both sound pretty fun. Racing through games is not a bad idea at all, as long as you stay away from the extremely oversaturated speedrun games.

I don't know if I would have any ideas that would be any better than yours; they sound great! Maybe like a No Kill Fallout New Vegas race or something like that. Or Tony Hawk's Pro Skater races with some Bonus Tapes of your own creation. As an aside, I've always wanted to see someone race across the entire map in The Crew.

Actually, you should run The Movies competitively. That would actually be pretty entertaining.

The Halo race I'm skeptical on as well, since if someone finishes way before the other person in a given level, there is just one screen running until the other finishes. But if we have 2 skilled players it should work out okay.

I've never heard of the Movies but I'll check it out. I LOVE the Tony Hawk idea though, that's genius. Since every run is in 2 minute heats, that would be super easy to time out the episode to.

It's a sim game where you run a movie studio from the early days of cinema to the present. You build up your studio and make films which are then graded on a star system. It's kind of a hybrid of the Sims and RollerCoaster Tycoon.

Just watched a review. Seems neat. Though I don't think anyone on the crew has played it, so ti might take some real time investment. And it might be a bit too similar to RCT2. Looks cool though.

I posted this one and the last couple episodes over on the RCT reddit. They LOVED the first one, lukewarm to the 2nd, and now they're straight up downvoting this one. Could be because of spam, cause I can't see any reason why this episode is hated so much more than the previous two.
