The shooter was killed early before he could kill more people. That isn't an answer. It is a safeguard against the effect of a deeper cause. No law will ever guarantee safety. That is why we have trained and armed personnel at other public venues. I am not disagreeing with that. I am all for armed security at schools. But that isn't a "solution" to the problem. And the problem isn't guns in and of themselves. Guns are just the most efficient means of the problem manifesting itself in a deadly way. Having armed guards is great.
