Diversity can mean ideals too. Too few people in america agree on anything anymore and in switzerland public opinion on important issues is mostly shared.

In the U.S. you could say something objectively patriotic and not know if that random stranger will want to hug you or punch you for it.

Its very anxiety inducing.

So many leftists are willing to toss away their lives just to harass others they think make them miserable. People in switzerland even when disagree know that doxxing somebody over their political opinion is extreme and anybody willing to do so has an opinion that should be ignored on principle.

I don't think you know anything about Switzerland.

Switzerland has more restrictive gun laws than the United States; significant ethnic (not racial) diversity, owing to the fact that they have four official languages; a higher cost of living that makes that higher wage nigh inconsequential; and universal healthcare.

Other than the relatively recent change in immigration policy, it's hardly a conservative paradise, at least as far as "conservative" means "American conservative".

Sure, the laws may be more lax, but what good is that if your chances of being murdered are significantly higher than everywhere else that isn't in the midst of a civil war or genocide (etc.)?
