I wanted the 50th platinum to be something special and figured a 100 hour JRPG fits that. It also ended up being one of my more intensive platinums, in terms of the amount of stuff to keep track of and the optimization of routes. NieR was a good 50th platinum choice for me. Persona 5 is a very good choice but I settled with it being platinum 84, since I wanted to get it done before one year after the release date. I already have #100 planned so it wasn't getting that either.
