There should be government measures across the world that tax people in proportion to their wealth. People can still be rewarded for ingenuity and serving market demands, but that doesn't mean there should be gross inequality of wealth like this.

After a certain amount of money when you can literally afford anything and everything you could ever want and your descendents will be rich for generations hoarding that much wealth just isnt good for society. I love capitalism and it is the best system humans have come up with, but there has to be limits. No one should be a trillionaire...period.

The 1 guy with billions of balls can still live the same quality of life, while everyone else can live an extremely high quality of life, or even have life.

It's not fair to the person who earned all the balls. That person worked hard to earn those balls. Sure it's unfair for anyone to take his balls, but by doing so, society as a whole is better.

BTW you all know you can't just seize rich people's assets right? Most of their assets aren't even in the country to begin with. To seize those assets would mean you are violating another country's sovereignty. When the taxation bombs hit, they're just going to take everything they can carry and get out to a tax haven.

Of course not. I think our system as it is right now is deeply broken.

But pursuing this topic in terms of what is "fair" is the absolute wrong direction to go in, as the repeated failures at socialism can attest to.

Look into Switzerland's economy. They thrive on a low taxes economy and almost everyone gets the resources they need, and then some.

Gun laws are completely inconsistent. Gun control has either resulted in Denmark and Japan, or it has resulted in Brazil and China.

Meanwhile economic freedom and representation of rights has consistently resulted in rich countries with affluent populace.
