It's been obvious, but Michael voted with the girls for James. The fact is that Angela spent two episodes with Des/Kellyn, then Michael spent THREE episodes with them. The girls obviously voted James because they had no connection to him, but now they can pick which way they wanna go.

It's been obvious. That's why I hate the season. 5/6 boots have been the result of Malolo (objectively the weaker tribe, given the imbalance in skill sets) losing the first two challenges. It sucks.

Gonzalez was EXTREMELY obvious. I predicted her to be the first boot before the season started.

Jacob, obviously.

Morgan, surprising.

Brendan, I desperately WANTED the gambit to work, but Michael's strategy was super dumb and when it came down to him playing the idol properly, it was pretty obvious his alliance would lose.

Stephanie, obvious.

James, again, desperately WANTED him to survive, but by this point, the season's edit has told me that every suspenseful editing trick is just smoke and mirrors.

To be fair I DO agree that this season is becoming obviously unobvious. Like, this episode's edit in isolation made me believe Desiree was going home, but in the back of my head I kept thinking "the 'this season' thing to have happen would be James goes."

This is what I mean. Morgan's boot was unobvious because it seemed like Angela was going home. After that though, an episode like this, where Desiree had all the signs of an obvious boot (plus the way the season has been going thus far), made it very unpleasant to realize James was fucked.

Chris is great. Probably my favorite so far. Clearly not winning but I can enjoy the ride. Hope he makes jury.

Go figure, I like Wendell a little more now. I like Sebastian, Laurel, Domenick is decent (though I prefer Chris in this feud).

Michael needs a little more pizzazz. He has heart but hes kinda boring with his monotone voice.

Not feeling Desi, Kellyn, or Angela, but at least theyre giving us something.

I really enjoy Bradley as a villain. I think hes actually pretty great. Hes not winning, so as long as he doesnt ruin much else Im cool with him being super cocky.

Not much of an opinion on Chelsea, Sebastians gf, or Libby yet.

Donathan is strange. He always looks like hes in another plane of existence.

Im caught up now, but holy crap that was a good double eviction.

I read a tweet that hinted that there was a lot of crying this episode and I interpreted it as maddie's getting eliminated at the 2nd half of the double after her crying fails and literally every conversation during the episode made me think it was going towards that "don't tell johnny", ryan winning the veto and jeez it was emotional

the episode was really good, but from the daily updates (I'm still a week behind on this...), the episodes don't do the live feeds justice

yes. yes. yes. technically yes.

I'd compare it to BB17 (since that's a season I watched). They promised a lot of twists at the beginning cause this season is "for the fans" who brought it back (like how the BotB was a "fan favorite" but past the 1st week, the gameplay is so good that there hasn't been a twist since.

Also the 2nd episode recap on RHAP is 100% worth watching/listening to
