Breitbart sucks but they aren't wrong. If the guy didn't leave any evidence of a motivation, we can not just assume he was politically motivated, which is the definition of terrorism.

It seems he did it because he could. Someone doesn't need a political motive and apparently he was able to do this and wanted to. Really that makes this worse then if he had some greater purpose.

We already know of his conservative background, that he was homeschooled, and that he made very violent anti abortion posts. Yet he didn't even target abortion clinics so that just looks irrelevant. It would be easy for liberals to run with that but we shouldn't.

They already have and they didn't find much of anything. He left a small digital footprint -- nothing that would raise any red flags.

Anyway, his motive should be obvious. He sought infamy, like your typical school shooter.

It's one definition of terrorism. A dictionary definition does not require a political motive.
