Current Events > Welp, Dragon Ball Super is over now, heres the last episode summary(spoilers)

17 and Frieza attack Siren, 17 does a barrier and grabs Jiren and explodes, dealing massive damage as Jiren takes a knee and is about to be eliminated by Frieza. Toppo gives him a speech about not giving up and Jiren powers up again, causing a beam clash between the remaining members, Goku jumps in and presumably they go through another friendship speech(I don't speak Japanese so I don't know about any of the dialogue) as all 3 of them now attack him.

Goku and Frieza do a rival respect speech and blitz Jiren, they land some hard blows on him and take some in return. Frieza then grabs Jiren and starts pushing him towards the out of bounds, Goku follows and helps push Jiren as Jiren looks defeated and they explode in a phoenix firebird looking explosion. 17 is the last man standing on the field and Universe 11 is destroyed after Goku gives them a speech.

The Grand Priest asks 17 what his wish is, and 17 looks at his team, and decides to wish back every universe that was in the tournament. Everyone is shocked at this, Frieza is also given his life back by Whis, who says it was a present from Beerus.

There's a shot of all the Universes staring into the sunset, some dialogue, and some more "Goku is rude" moments with Zeno, and presumably theres a "Until we meet again" as per the episode title somewhere in the dialogue between the Zenos and Goku. Everyone is back at Bulmas now(including Frieza), staring into the sunset (seriously? Whats with all the sunsets?)

without her 17 would have been eliminated
and had she won she would have asked for money and the tournament wouldnt have been pointless

also i thought this was just just a temporary break and the show would be back eventually

The intro is different.

Lagrima is there, but a lot later than youd expect (a montage with Limitbreak x survivor happens a bit before)

It's done. They say "indefinite suspension" but that's what Lost Canvas' official status is as well and we are never getting the third season.

But its pretty well known Dragonball ITSELF isnt going anywhere... the question is, will it also be called Super next time?

If they hadnt revived them all, it would have been such a waste with all the new characters.

Honestly DBS probably would have benefited from 1-2 more episodes to wrap up stuff like planet sadala, Jiren, the other 4 universes, etc..

It wasnt until Namek (which was after said line) that Vegeta started doing good wasnt it?

Im just speculating, i have no idea what will happen, but im definitely looking forward to seeing it.

both 17 and 18 were introduced stronger than base level super saiyans as well as namek saga freeza.
they were always super strong and years later they have just gotten stronger

I think the explanation was unlike 16 who is 100% robot and can't get any stronger, 17 & 18 are cyborgs so they are still able to become stronger by training.
