Next time they do this in 2019 FF7 likely won't be on the list given upcoming releases (GoW, RDR2, Cyberpunk?).

Stupid as fuck.
I get gameinformer and they just did a 300 best video games of all time thing and it was so eye rolling. They have yoshis island at 239, adventure for the Atari 2600 at 226, super Mario odyssey at 224, fable 2 at 221, angry birds at 213, silent hill 2 at 199, marble madness st 198, stardew valley at 167, super Mario rpg at 153, destiny at 149, pong at 136, majoras mask at 128, THPS 3 at 108, legend of Zelda Breath of the wild at 100 and frogger at 96.. jfc.. FF7 at 80, dr Mario at 76, super Mario 64 at 69, ssbm at 50 and the sims 2 at 46, the last of us at 25, doom at 13, Minecraft at 12, WOW at 6 Basically when you list things like that youre saying that pong is better than super Mario odyssey or that the sims 2 is better than super smash brothers melee. "best game" lists seem to be confused with themselves. They often mix up "best" with "most important." Is WoW one of the best games? No. But its a very important game because it was the most popular MMO and is still going on. Original Mario Bros? Its not a bad game, but its not a great one. Super important though.

The only top 100 list I didn't mind was EGM's list back in the day for their 100 or 150 magazine issue.

Well, they have undertale on the list.
