Demia is basically a pvp hero. Not sure what role sonia fills. Selene is a good multi purpose character that you can splash into several teams. However, I do hear she is the most reliant on her uw, even more so than other dps.

Demia is am exceptional PVP hero but I don't think she's that good elsewhere.

Sonia is a multipurpose tank. She's pretty great everywhere for any type of team and produces high damage too when geared correctly. She's the tank I use so I can show you in a Dragon Raid if you wanted. Other tanks offer better survivability for your heroes hiding behind the tank but nobody does the whole package as good as Sonia imo.

Selene is another multipurpose hero. She's pretty good everywhere without being great

The newbie package for $9 is great value if you're willing to drop $18. It offers you a selection of heroes for $9 initially and if you purchase it then it offers you their UW for an additional $9 later. You will never get as good a value as that again. That being said you don't need to drop money to play the game so don't feel obligated to buy it just because of the value.

Yeah, Sonia was too new when I started, and she would have probably been my tank of choice if I could have spent a ticket on her. I'm not disappointed in Morrah though, she is very good too, especially against Magic teams, and still quite bae ^_^.

I actually use both Morrah and Sonia quite a lot. I use Sonia for everything but I still use Morrah for World Boss and Dragon Raids. Morrah outdamages Sonia on World Boss (10m DPS to like 5m DPS)

I found that a team of Sonia Morrah Epis Frey is pretty quick at killing BD70. Epis usually dies but does enough damage to speed things up a lot. Then Sonia and Morrah do like 2m DPS each to finish off the Dragon.

I have both clause and artrmia at t2 (with Frey at t1 and Selene at t3). I have three stones coming today and Im wondering what I should do with them.

The other heroes I have are Maria, laias, and epis. Nyx is my inn hero but I just started him. I actually have enough do juice that I can instantly level a character to at least 71 right now. I also have a lot of rubies and Im not adverse to buying a hero that might help me make a more synergistic team.

Kinda depends on what you're aiming to achieve.

Priscilla would probably do well for you though. She amplifies damage and doesn't care whether you're using a magical or physical DPS. She also doesn't a UW to do her job.

How far are you into the game? Just about to start chapter 7?

I have chapter 7 cleared on normal and every other chapter cleared on hell (except for two because of the wolf stage).

Heroes Ive been looking at are priscilla, miruru, Jane, Phillop, etc. also considering scarlet for Pvp. I also like Shea because shes cute (but it also seems like she needs too much investment).

Right now probably get to 80 and then start to build a team to kill off black dragon so I can farm more gear and tokens. (I can solo up to The mid 60s if I micro). After that most likely start on an arena team

Well for soloing Black Dragon you basically have 3 options

1. Use Gau or Phillop to prevent the flying breath attack happening / hitting anyone

2. Use people who are bulky enough to survive the flying breath

3. Have that strong a DPS that breath becomes a non issue

Gau is generally the least investment intensive but can be a bit hit and miss on auto. He basically just needs to be T1 and that's it. He can be usable in Arena if you build him further.

Bulky heroes you're basically looking at using DPS tanks (Sonia, Morrah work for me) or throwing on defensive gear on your DPS.

Option 3 likely needs heavy UW investment

Oh and Arena wise you will do fine with:

Laias
Maria
DPS
Tank (Demia, Ricardo are the common ones but Scarlet is used as a tank sometimes too)

The best PVP heroes tend to have less use outside of PVP though. Heroes like Tanya, Fluss, Scarlet are great for PVP but mediocre outside of it.

PVP is a pain as you basically have to take dispels and cleanses otherwise certain heroes will murder you.

i have morrah too (0* uw) and i'm trying to figure out how to gear/rune/perk her. she's my primary tank right now and i've been focusing on defenses but yeah it would be nice to do some damage too. not sure if i should go for a lot of mdef and try to do damage through the s2 dark perk or just build dps-ish overall, or what.

So for basic PvE, the way I use Morrah...

Focus on her S2 first when booking her. Make sure that gets maxed first since it's the bread and butter of her kit. S4 after that, and then S1 and S3.

For gear, I use 2 pieces of Ice Dragon and 2 pieces of Black Dragon so she has a nice balance of hp and mp regeneration. I actually use the Bracelet for her accessory for more PDef since she has MDef covered quite well already, but using a Ring works as well.

Go for basic tanking stats, HP%, PDef, MDef, PBlock, etc... but try to make sure you get some Attack Speed and Lifesteal in so she can get MP back quicker and help keep herself topped off as much as possible.

Now, the nice thing about Morrah is that she can also operate as a Sub-DPS tank for long fights with her Flame stacking and doesn't lose much survivability in Hell difficulty dungeons either, so feel free to gear her that way as well.

I have my Morrah geared as a full DPS and did that even when she was my main tank.

Well she's not quite full DPS now as I had to steal some gear to give to Sonia and I haven't fully replaced it yet

3* Epis (currently grinding repeat battles to level her up)

part of me thinks i should have used my 2* pull on demia but mreh

i think i'll use my next pull for sonia? i'm not sure.

also i have enough rubies for a summon...should i bother?

Although I am leaning to leveling up laias. Im slow leveling my alt until I get my five star ticket. My random unique for my alt was naila who is like ehhh. But I chose epis and Maria for my 2 and 3 on my alt (despite having them on my main. Mostly because they are not that raised there). So I have slightly less incentive to raise them. I am able to use both accounts at once so Ill be able to duo dragons.

I havnt quite decided who to pick with my ticket on my alt yet but it will be someone I dont have and probably wont be getting on my main any time soon, and someone who is almost specially good in raid. The biggest difference in the two accounts besides where they are in terms of progress is that my main has been relatively lucky with unique weapon drops where I have them for Artemia, Maria, and Selene as well as having my ticket left. And that elf dudes. While my alt only has nailas sitting in my inventory.

Don't waste rubies on pulls. Also you will need a tank ch6 onwards probably. Clause works well if you don't want to use selectors or rubies

You don't have to get the inn character. They change at midnight if you opt not to start a relationship

If you want to buy a cheap "tank" with Rubies, Gau is a superb choice. He's useful in a ton of content and can tank just fine.

I don't have her, I can't say for sure, but generally speaking Tanks aren't reliant on their UWs... however the spread sheet lists her as an exception and says she is.

I'm currently working on my Ophelia, I have her UT and UW, and she's supposed to be a good main dps. It will require me to be more micro than I usually am though, but that's probably not a bad thing. I wish I could find more resources on how best to use her.

Tanks basically fall into 3 categories

Beefy blockers/mitigation tanks - Ricardo, Demia, Clause. These tend to be good at PVP (Clause not so much but he's great most other places)

Damage Amplification Tanks - Phillop, Jane. These 2 are still pretty bulky but focus on stripping enemy defences to increase team damage. Generally good at Raids / World Boss

Damage Dealing Tanks - Morrah, Sonia. These tend to be all around tanks. They offer a little bit of crowd control, they offer a little damage amplification and they deal decent damage if geared that way. Downside is they rely on their UW. Sonia is great everywhere, Morrah is more of a Raid/World Boss specialist

Any tank is going to be fine for chapter clearing.

If you don't care about a tank due to getting Sonia later then either grab a PVP healer (Rephy, Laias, Casssandra, Bau but Bau is cancer so don't get him) or a damage amper for your DPS or someone multipurpose like Gau (although I don't think he's on 3* ticket).

Alternatively grab someone you have a UW for. We are getting a random UW ticket for a Facebook campaign in the next few days

Usually enhance the gear I'm using and then sell the rest. Grinding isn't really worth it.

Also just levelled up Priscillas UW. Slightly disappointing. Apparently a 5* Tier 7 Dragon Raid weapon is about the same attack as a fully levelled 0* UW. So even when I slot it with runes it's probably about a push since the Dragon weapon I had on her had perfect DPS lines

Theo is really good. He's probably one of the heroes who gets the best scaling out of his UW being improved in stars too
