The setup I found the most useful once I discovered it was:
Charge Shot / Spread: this gives you real good power at long range and it's usually not hard to aim and real good power at close range because when all of spread hits it's pretty wicked. Smoke Bomb / Coffee: even though every attack is avoidable without this, it makes things a lot easier, especially when you're learning patterns. Once you learn the patterns switch to Coffee and the super meter builds a LOT faster which lets you take enemies out faster or avoid damage and makes fights easier. for the flying levels use Heart. is there a particular boss you're having trouble with? --- Playing: Shadow of the Colossus (PS4) (~);} - Get out the pans, don't just stand there dreamin' - {;(~) ...
