I think the movie touches on a lot of interesting themes, but doesn't really go anywhere with them (granted the medium and rating aren't conducive). The movie depicts some aspects of fandom well, but at the same time I couldn't help but feel it reinforced/normalized some of the more negative aspects (the ending really seemed to try to straddle the fence here). <cite>Ruvan22 posted [p:898842811] in Ready Play... CyricZ 04/01/18 2:53:34 PM #10:	I didn't hate it. In fact I kinda liked it. Wasn't a bad movie by any technical stretch. Maybe a few things I would have done differently, but those were miniscule in the grander scheme. The movie had a message and it kept to that. The characters were just about all good.
