I got some of those minis from Chick Fil-A just now... They asked me at the window what kind of sauce I wanted. I told them Chick Fil-A sauce. I get home to find out that they gave me 9 packets of sauce. God damn.

If this was McDonald's, I would have had to win a god damn Mortal Kombat tournament against each rank of employee present to get an extra packet of sauce.

9 packets of sauce is wasteful and probably would hurt their bottom line if they gave everyone that amount of excess.

Realistically, you just met either an overzealous or apathetic employee and this is a location-specific rather than universal policy.

Some of their coupons are insane. I was getting $1 signature crafted burgers like once a week. The Sriracha burger isn't my favorite, but it's hard to beat a dollar.

Mcdondalds acts like they get paid in ketchup. They have given me two packs for a 20 piece of nuggets before. Thats what you get when you go to a place that prioritizes cheap and fast over quality.

Chick fil a is so popular because of menu simplicity and consistency. Mcdondalds has like a thousand menu items and now they suck. Same as dominos.

Ive never seen Mcdondalds have so many customers that they had to have employees take orders with tablets in the parking lot.

I mean I worked at a pizza chain and I was one of the core people the schedule was built around, so I got the hours/days I wanted which were the same every week. The part timers were the ones to get filled in around us. Fair point though.

I?ve never seen Mcdondalds have so many customers that they had to have employees take orders with tablets in the parking lot.

I only go there once every few months. Not knocking chick fil a's food. I've heard nothing but good things and I'm sure I'd enjoy it. I've just never had it because I refuse to go out of my way by over an hour. I've yet to coincidentally be anywhere near any of their locations.

Unless you need the money then it's 24 less hours that get divided up amongst the employees.

McDonald's did away with the grilled chicken ranch wraps two for $3. My reason for ever frequenting their locations vanished.

They pay quite a bit over minimum wage in most areas so they can be more choosey about their employees and it shows. They stress the shit out of customer service.
