That reminded me of when my wife's bio mom told her I was after her for some $10k trust fund (which she stole from two of her four kids who had one - long story). We all laughed our asses off because my dad makes more than that in a month, and his house is worth over $1M. It was like when Zoidberg wanted to buy "one art."

So for an update things have been going pretty good except her dog, a border collie, has started having strokes and seizures. I have the unfortunate burden of watching her whenever my ex is working and recently her health has been going downhill quite rapidly.

My ex wants to have all these expensive tests done to try and figure out whats wrong with Jackie but with her being close to 12 I've been trying to talk her out of it since she'll just be wasting money on a broken dog. If she wants one i'll take her down to the local Humane Society and get her a new one for $75.

Was actually able to snag it this morning right as she was being picked up. Not the best quality since it was with my phone and she was excited to see her owner after a long night.

and is there an update on what's gonna happen with the dog? like i get your point about not wanting to spend the money on the surgeries. my moms dog was like 11 and we had to put it down cause it had cancer. like after like 10-12 or so it's hard to put in the money to try to save them when you don't know if it'll even work. even if it does you're only gonna be getting a few more years. but your ex loves her dog and i can see her not wanting to give up yet. but that could end up being like 100k in surgeries or something.
