If I want pure function, I've got my Kershaw Leek - but watch your local laws; it's a "flipper" assisted-opener. California allows it, but barely. If I had to define one as an EDC, it'd probably be my SD Swiss Army MiniChamp in Alox. Has almost all I would need any given day - blade, scissors, bottle opener - and fits nicely in my coin pocket.
