He was talking about how fucked up the world is but it doesn't matter because he's happy since he lives in his own world
Then he said that I do too, "I can tell". I'm not really sure how to feel about that. Like is that an insult or not? This guys usually a dick but he seemed like he was gonna good mood tonight and except for that one comment was actually pleasant to talk to --- Don't ask. ... Copied to Clipboard!

These are some of the reasons I'm thankful to have learned not to give an F when it comes to other people's opinions/expressions towards stuff and myself over-all. It's actually funny people who'd like to make smart remarks getting upset when you ignore/change the subject. This dude prolly just wanted to sound cool and marginalize you. pay no mind.

It means that you are oblivious to the struggles of others. That you're so wrapped up in your own stuff that what is going on around you doesn't even register. Nothing matters to you but the things that directly affect you. It's certainly not a nice thing to say to someone.

This guys usually a dick but he seemed like he was gonna good mood tonight and except for that one comment was actually pleasant to talk to I would totally go off your gut feeling! If you felt he was pleasant then he probably was and actually is, its just, well...some people speak in different ways! For example, my supervisor at my old job was this way. He even introduced himself as "a real asshole". But the truth was he was one of the most genuine people I have known. He had harsh language, made fun of me, but when I was actually possibly hurt on the job he sounded concerned almost like a father and when I was frustrated with not understanding something he really seemed like he wanted to help me learn it. Granted I had a lot more time to get to know him then you, opposed to your customer but it may not be so different. ... Copied to Clipboard!
