Crowd is gonna kill this match but I think it's way unfair for everyone to judge the performances of these two beforehand. We don't know if it's gonna be underwhelming. For all we know, these two could put on a hell of a match. The crowd is gonna boo, whether that's deserved or not I don't know and the answer probably changes from person to person. But I'm gonna enjoy this match for the match, and if it sucks then I'll say it sucks. But not now before we have even seen the match

I don't think people are going to boo that much tbh. They already made a lot of deflating decisions. It's mostly going to be quieter than expected.

the bar is fine, they've been great champions and we know they're good. if you let the bar get buried in your mind over that match, then that's not the booking's fault or the bar's fault. gonna trick yourself into perceiving something you don't want to perceive.

We've seen monsters beat tag champs in handicap matches before. Nothing new here.

I agree. And I said that. But everyone was against it even then. When I said Braun should 2 on 1 squash the Bar at Mania.

I liked the concept of a big pop for a return or debuting guy. It's something this show needed. The rest of it felt... processed? Less organic. And this felt super, super processed. I tend to lose interest when you can feel the booker and creative team playing around. I didn't feel that with Charlotte/Asuka. Which is why I was more passionate in that moment. I have no connection to this because it doesn't suspend my disbelief.

It keeps Braun over and relevant - if youre gonna insist on keeping him out of the title picture where he belongs this is a must.

90% chance Braun gets stripped of titles leading to tournament arc - 10% chance we extend the partner search storyline. Sticking him with a partner just forces him to have to lose a match to drop the titles at some point which is worse.

It doesnt even hurt The Bar that much because they were already previously booked this much worse than Braun.

You don't get it. It's not about the handicap mentality. It's about how it feels. It feels scripted in the worst way. The reason Braun has felt good to this point so often is because it's scripted in a way that feels natural.

Now it is complete trash again. Its pointless. It means nothing. Its stupid, lazy writing, and it makes the last year of building the division completely pointless. It even makes the other Tag Team division look weak.

it absolutely was entertaining for some of us, i loved it.

IMO people who think this way are being a bit too much of a mark. think about what you're watching. it's pro wrestling. enjoy it for what it is, which is competitive but a little silly sometimes and it's okay to laugh at it
