The advice this board used to give me was garbage like if you get ghosted by multiple girls, the problem is you. Completely false. Succeeding with women is a numbers game, and the odds are against you even more with fickle Tinder girls who are talking to 20 other guys at the same time as you.

Something else people regurgitated here was you need to fix your depression first before you can date someone. As if theres no such thing as a girl who has depression and understands it. Dont try to give girl advice if you dont know what youre talking about.

It is not healthy to have two chronically depressed people together. Depression is also a burden on the partner, not just the person going through the depression.

I would say that yes, you do need to work on your own depression before getting serious with someone or it's going to likely cause issues in the relationship.

Some people are just depressed. Its ableist and wrong to say they dont deserve love.

Actually I found this board to give excellent dating advice. On this board you'll see a lot of people making mistakes with woman and posting about them. There's also a lot of people on this board who are in serious relationships and actually give out honest info like "a girl is not doing you a favor sucking your dick, you're doing her a favor letting her suck on it" you're not going to get that kind of truth anywhere else, not even the advice board here can give you that kind of insight. Yet on CE you get that winner perspective a lot.
