S1 was good. A nice introduction to the Arrowverse
S2 was fucking great and a build on everything from S1 and introducing characters who would be in the Flash.
S3 was a goddamn dumpster fire
S4 somehow managed to be worse than that
S5 did a complete 180 and was fucking excellent. Close to, if not on par, with S1
S6 did another 180 and it's fucking shit again with all this forced drama and literal brain dead decision making by the characters.

What the fuck happened?

Same goes for Flash but that's been on a steady downhill slope since S2

I think they decided to listen to marketing executives who were taking their queues from fangirls, and not from professional writers who understand how plot and character development works.

Felicity Smoak and that entire romance has to be the most ill-advised character writing in any tv show, perhaps of all time.

I'm trying to watch the entire Arrowverse right now, and I'm on season 3 of Arrow.... Good god, it is boring as shit. Now hearing season 4 is even worse is really disheartening. :(

I fucking love all 3 seasons of The Flash and can't wait to watch season 4. I think I just like the characters on The Flash more, especially The Flash himself.

She was never the best character, she was a mildly entertaining side character that got lame really fast in season 2

kinda tried to get into agents of shield but stopped after a few episodes.

might try to get into it again. how's it compare overall to the netflix shows?

SHIELD is yet another Joss Wheadon show that you have to watch for like 6 episodes before it starts getting really good. It's actually made me yell "OH MY GOD WHAT THE FUCK" at my tv and I'm not that guy.

I feel like the only way the flash is ever going to have suspense is either a) another super fast enemy appears, or b) barry loses all intelligence during fight scenes.

His abilities are simply too broken otherwise. The amount of times he gets punched in the face even though we've seen him walk around and inspect bullets flying through the air like he's examining a museum curio is ridiculous.

Thats the writing though, I mean a few episodes ago there was an episode where barry was moving so fast that the whole episode was taking place in 10 seconds. And yet in the episode you are talking about that woman "got away". That is just some poor writing that he can move that fast, but if a bad guy is out of eyesight he gives up even though he could easily search the whole city in less than a second.

Arrow is just horrendous at this point. The only good super hero show that has a 21/22 episode season is Agents of Shield. Mainly because they split their story arcs into 2 or in season 4s case 3 parts.
