At this point, I don't care as much about winning the series as I care about sending someone out there to permanently injure Ovechkin. If the NHL and the Capitals are gonna continue to condone what Wilson is trying to do to our players, our failure to respond in kind is condoning it as well.

It may cost us a game to have someone break Ovechkin's neck and end his season/career, but it'll make sure the Capitals don't win the next series or the Cup and it'll show why you SUSPEND PLAYERS WHO DO THINGS LIKE THAT SO TEAMS AREN'T FORCED TO RETALIATE.

If the Pens keep letting it happen without a violent response, they are cowards and I have no time for them.

We lost the one game we actually showed up for the entirety of so.

The one thing that impresses me is that aside from 3 minutes in the third, the Caps are not playing like they're afraid of us at all which is unusual.

The silly thing is, before the series started almost all the Penguins fans would've been completely okay with seeing the Capitals move on and get to the Finals for the first time.

Now after the Tom Wilson stuff though? No chance.

Zach Aston-Reese has a broken jaw and a concussion today.

Tom Wilson sat there laughing as the guy's blood got cleaned off the ice, knowing he wouldn't be punished by the NHL during or after the game.

I'm only complaining if the Penguins fail to do something in response. Something drastic and violent.

If we ended Ovechkin or Backstrom's career or paralyzed them for life, it'd just be a consequence at this point.

So wrong. Wilson is MUCH better than he gets credit for. He hits a lot so people assume he must be some fourth-line scrub but he totally isn't. He's a legit top six guy and would be on just about any team. Suspending him changes the outcome of the series in a big way.
