I'm super left leaning but I can't help but feel like it's almost futile to try and rehabilitate some of these people's beliefs on what it means to treat everybody with respect and not act like a feral animal, especially if you're like 30+ years old and your worldview is so small and warped to start out with. I'd rather invest these resources into actual children like <5 years old who can be taught o be decent people so much easier than somebody whose beliefs already have roots. idk what the answer is but this certainly was a big fuck up imo.
