I'm okay! Today are student government elections and I'm running for president. I'm currently sitting in the hair salon chair getting my hair straightened for my birthday.

OK I guess, I only work a half day today, but the second half involves me driving 45 minutes out of town so that I can start packing up my mothers stuff out of her apartment to move it out. And working with the landlady to figure out when I need to have her stuff out by.

Once I am done there though at least I get to go to the comic shop to pick up the latest Daredevil and TMNT issues.

Also, Dikitain. I have always enjoyed Daredevil, one of my favs for sure. Have you watched the netflix marvel series? Also, in your opinion, which writer had the best run with Daredevil?

Yep, I actually got into the comics through the Netflix series, and because I am such a huge reader I have probably caught up on most of the comics from the beinging to today (except most of the stuff from the 70's, but nothing of note really happened then anyways).

I think Frank Miller had the best stories (Elektra and Born Again), but for best writer overall I would have to go with Bendis. He really took what Miller had done with the character and took it to a whole new level and set the standard of how Daredevil was written going forward. Also, I know a lot of people like him, but I am not a fan of the Mark Waid run.

Pretty good. Overslept a bit, but still caught my bus. And there's a bunch of PS4 games on sale at Best Buy today, so I picked up a couple I've been eyeing.

- I agree whole heartily with you regarding DD. Miller did a great job to help establish the character and definitely had a great run. Bendis took that and fleshed out every aspect, and in my opinion made DD a much deeper character as a result.

- I really hope you win! Know where you are going for your birthday?

Meh. Spent 15 minutes trying to get through to get a Doctors appointment to get my results only to be told they were fully booked so I need to try again tomorrow. It's sunny out though not that it matters as I'll be indoors most the day anyway.

Firewood - where are you taking a trip?

Winter - navigating medical stuff can definitely be a hassle. Hopefully there is an opening tomorrow. I've also been successful with online receiving of results. Though that may not be available, or an additional consult may be necessary depending on your results...idk. Either way, I hope you receive the results soon, and that they are good results.

They should be. It was just yet another blood test and I don't think anything has changed since my last one. Still I kinda hope they find something(nothing major) so then they have some answers to this constant head pressure I get other than "It's just Anxiety, now off you go".

Zang - That's a great attitude to have for work. Maybe a bath with some episome salt would help? Or a backrub from your darling wife of you ask nicely?

Winter - that sounds like a lot to deal with for sure. Hopefully they find something. Knowing what is the cause is can help. Make sure you take it easy and know you are doing what you can to treat it sweety.

Well I like to celebrate for an entire week, lol. Tonight I'm going to a local brewery for drinks with former coworkers. Tomorrow I'm going to a networking event for social services sector, so not really a party but it's a good opportunity. On Friday, I'll be downtown on Friday night at a dance party! All my friends get in for free before 11pm, so that should be a good time.

Awful. I work in a call center and I can't work due to severe throat pain. I've gargled salt water, eaten a dozen cough drops, sprayed 100 sprays of chloraseptic, taken about 10 ibuprofen. Still feels like someone took a razor to the back of my throat.

It's been a pretty good day. I did my 7 hours at the diner. There are only 3 of us on Wednesday, the owner (a personal friend that was a guest at my wedding), the manager and myself. The boss left at 2:15 so I suggested to the manager that he go get beer a block away to drink while we cleaned up since we close at 3pm. He agreed and got a 6pack of Bells Two-Hearted at my suggestion. He had never had it but liked it. I also made $65 in tips on top on my daily wage.
