I currently have two tickets to a concert for tomorrow night and I got them very last minute so idk if I can find someone to go with. Part of me wants to still go by myself but idk if it will be worth it to go alone. It'd be cool to make some new friends but part of me will feel awkward if I'm by myself.

I think you've both convinced me. I'll go by myself if I can't find someone tomorrow. I actually considered hitting up my ex. I don't think that will be a good idea... Though I don't think I'm really thinking with my brain. :0

I have bought two tickets to a concert only to end up going alone. It was awesome and I don't regret it.

I love music and a big part of me loves sharing it with people that are close to me. That would be the main disappointment if I don't get a friend to join me. I have this partial fantasy of meeting my future wife at a concert though so maybe this will be the day.

No, just because I don't like concerts. Too much yelling, too hot, too expensive, can't really hear the music.

But I don't see why not to go alone, especially if you're good at socializing with strangers

Nice. I went to see Snoop Dogg like 5 or 6 years ago in Vancouver BC and man that was kills. Everyone was passing joints around. I got so messed up haha good times.

That's how it was when I saw Hieroglyphics and Cunninlynguists on 4/20 a few years ago. It's to be expected. haha.

I've been to Kendrick Lamar and Chance the Rapper concerts alone! Fuck it man, enjoy the music.

Yeeeeah. I saw him years ago around the time his very first album dropped. I've followed him since his first mixtape. Def one of my favs. His new album has been on repeat for months.

I see zero issue in going alone -- since a large part of concerts is meeting other fans, etc -- but I wouldn't go to a concert period, mostly because I'm not much of a music fan.

Last concert I went to I went alone. It was great, I didn't have someone in my ear bugging me to overpay for a beer, or complaining that I didn't bother getting food until midnight.

Yup. But mainly because they were Japanese artists and I didn't know anyone else who would be interested in that kind of thing.

It was great! KRIT brought out TI to perform for a song too. I ended up going with my friend Eddie. He's someone I actually only really hangout with at concerts. Now I'm hoping to buy tickets to go to this next:

I flew to Vancouver to see X Japan's Canadian premiere by myself. I wanted to go and there isn't a chance I could convince a friend to buy front row seats let alone a plane ticket.

Damn that's some dedication. My girlfriend and I saw my favorite rap group the CunninLyngusists two nights in a row. First night, we drove 5 hours to see them in northern California and then drove back down to southern California to see them again for my bday. I got to talk to them after the concert both times.

I wouldn't go to a concert at all. They're always obscenely loud to the point where not only does it not sound good, but it also has a non-trivial probability of causing permanent hearing damage. I'm not sure why they feel the need to blast it at 150dB, but I'd much rather just listen to studio recordings.
