19 y/o Quinn Kofler hit the daily double a year later after being ARRESTED for LOITERING because he just won 15 MILLION on a SCRATCH and WIN ticket!!

One year ago he was sitting in a cell for standing around at a business..but now the lucky brat is a multi millionaire who is gonna pick out a new house for himself..

His loitering case was dismissed as he wasn't formally arrested

He bought a scratch off ticket called Florida 100X the Cash and took the lump sum ppayment of 11.1 million. The 7-11 also won a 30,000 bonus for selling him the ticket

The new scratch off ticket costs 30 dollars and was launched on February 26th. Prizes range from 30 to 15 million and chances of winning are 1 in 2.59 but to win the top price is 1 in 4 million..

Do you think loitering should be an arrestable offense?.

Yes. If you're not buying anything you should leave. If you don't and just sit or stand about in the place then they have every right to ask you to leave and if you don't they get the cops involved as by that point you're trespassing. Shops and the like are not public hangout spots.

I don't understand why the guy is a "brat".

And no, loitering shouldn't be an criminal offense. Furthermore, all businesses have the right to refuse service to anyone.

Yeah I don't get that either. I guess some folk get salty when others win something they don't. He got lucky and that's good for him.

If a business asks you to leave and you don't, what recourse does the business have? And when a cop arrives and asks that you move along and you don't, what recourse does the cop have?

They legally don't, as we learned from sued Christians.

Thats because they used religious excuses even though being state.

If you build on state land, employ people with state laws, take any loans to build the business or anything like thst
Its state property to an extent (if you take loans from state then pay them off you still out state money into building it up)
So you cant do religious practices in them unless you label it as a church.

Thats what my dad said but I dont know. Hes a lawyer but not that kind
