It is beyond bad and the series finale was somehow even worse than the previous 11 episodes of season 8. Showtime really milked the shit out of the series. They could have easily told the same story in 5 or 6 seasons. The end of season 5 should have been when ~~Deb found out about Dexter.~~ The way that played out was really fucking stupid.
