25 y/o Whacko Alek Minassian was the man who rented a white van and mowed down pedestrians in Toronto, Canada that killed TEN people!!

The shocking incident happened on Yonge Street just before 1:30pm.

Police won't confirm if it was a deliberate attack but witnesses said he seemed to be targeting pedestrians as one witness named Ali said he was intentionally doign this because he kept going and going

Many of the victims had been elderly and Ali said he saw a stroller fly into the air...Footage showed the rental van attempting to flee the scene but cops were able to stop it a few blocks away.

Alek got out of the vehicle and pointed at a cop which looked like a gun..he kept pulling his gun in and out but did not shoot as it seemed like an attempt to be a suicide by cop motivation.

Witnesses were shocked by the bloody attack as attacks like these are very rare in Canada

Global News Journalist, Jeremy Cohn said "I've now walked up Yonge St from north of Sheppard to Finch. I have passed multiple dead bodies covered up, shoes and debris in the road. Witnesses tell me the white van appeared copletely out of control"

Bystanders quickly went to the victims and began resuscitation as one woman was visibly shaken from the attack who said she's never seen a dead body before..

Police say it's too early to say what was the motivation as Prime Minister Justin Trudeau gave his condolenscences and will be visiting the city soon. The terrorist threat level was unchanged as terrorism does not appear to be the case as no terrorist group has claimed responsibility

The United States and Europe have had a string of deadly attacks involving vehicles used to mow down pedestrians including the Oct 31st attack in New York that killed 8.

Terrorist groups claimed responsibility as they urged lone wolfs to carry out these attacks.

Did you assume this was a foreign terrorist attack when news came out on this?

Did you assume this was a foreign terrorist attack when you heard this news?

Given the number of white van attacks they've used, it was my first guess. Instead it was a domestic terrorist... or maybe just a madman.
