But uh, are the dark aeons even possible to defeat without leveling up like crazy, cuz I accidentally ran into dark magus sisters and that shit is ridiculous

They are meant to be difficult with a maxed sphere grid

Also don't use Magus Sisters (and arguably Anima) if you want to have any challenge in a boss fight

Use Anima all you want for the bonus bosses. But you don't need her for any main-game boss after you're able to unlock her. Nothing is too difficult after Seymour Flux.

You will not, but there is still some endgame stuff you should check out like Omega Ruins and Auron's spheres. But yeah I think fighting the final bosses at proper difficulty gives the ending some more weight.

you can beat dark bahamut (almost) as you are now if you're willing to do a long, slow, boring cheese strategy! or pray to the yojimbo gods.

I feel you though, I try to warn people to grab that sigil in your literal one opportunity before he shows up for this exact reason.

also Yuna might be too powerful now even without her aeons, nirvana + holy is lethal af
