A US veteran has received the first TOTAL PENIS and SCROTUM transplant after he lost both his legs and his genitals from a bomb blast in Afghanistan!!

The young man who doesn't want to be named is expected to regain all sexual and urinary functions within months as he's been waiting to have feeling...down there for a long time

9 plastic surgeons and 2 urological surgeons were involved in the 14 hour surgery at Johns Hopkins, the same team who performed the first bilaterial arm transplant on a wounded warrior

They gave him an entire penis, scrotum without testicles and part of the abdominal all from a deceased donor...the donor's testicles were removed for "ethical" reasons so he CAN'T IMPREGNATE a woman as he would be having the deceased man's babies

He said "It's a real mind boggling injury to suffer, it is not an easy one to accept. When i first woke up, i felt finally more normal..with a level of confidence as well..like i'm finally okay now"

This is groundbreaking as it paves the way for many soldiers who sustained genital injuries. M.D Andrew Lee says this is groundbreaking as it will help the man restore his urinary and sexual functions and he can live a normal life again.

He will be among the SIXTY men who will have penis transplants and was the first successful one to undergo it

Approxitmately 1300+ male soldiers sustained a injury in their genitals between October 2001 to August 2013 and 94% of them were 35 or younger...
