If you are ever struggling with anything to do with computers it's your fault. It is not the company who made them's fault. If you are not taking the effort when it comes to technology that's on you.

Yes, it's your fault if you complain about a DOA part, or did not expect something to be DOA. Just return it and buy another one. It is something that is fairly common and you should expect it to happen.

A shill without a cause.

Have you ever worked for a company that produces any kind of hardware? I have. The product I worked on had a 95% acceptance criteria when it came to testing lots of hardware. That means that 5% of them given an adequate sample size (several thousand) were faulty. This was at a company that pushed millions of units a year. You cannot expect that 100% of all manufactured hardware works properly.

So it's user error. Literally shill logic.

So that means it's literally 120% of the user's fault?

Also, shipping fucks up and breaks stuff all the time, especially if it goes across a boarder.

EDIT: Also, you can't just say, "the company I work for makes great products, therefor all companies make great products", that's dumb and you should know that.

Also, have you ever dealt with actual... you know... production of stuff? I mean past the first year that it's in production.

It's certainly the end user's responsibility to learn the ins and outs of any complex piece of technology, but like fuck the end user is to blame for short sighted, or outright bloody-minded UI/UX choices. This is a two way street.
