Context like an alien symbiot suit, radical character shift, genres of the movies, how the characters react in each situation, the relationships or lack of the dancers had before hand, the actual visuals and choreography . . . fuck it why am I posting?

And context is a big part of it. Baby is isolated and cornered, yet resilient, and he's just met this girl that he's got good chemistry with. Spider-Man whole demeanor is completely different. He's got no chemistry. He's all in black. He's harassing random people on the street, and the audience knows he's been possessed or something, so we recognize the uncharacteristic dancing as a warning of something being wrong.
