It seems like any local sub shop or even a subway has better food but there are like 2 Jimmy John's locations within a mile of where I work, with 2 sub shops and a Subway. The Jimmy John's seems to be the more popular place.

I like them way better than Jimmy Johns... But maybe it's because I'm more use to it. I hadn't Jimmy Johns once, and I wasn't impressed. And I wouldn't want to keep wasting money to maybe find something I like. Plus, I think all the subs are cold...

I hadn't heard of them until a week ago but then I suddenly realized they existed but I'm still trying to wrap my head around why. Their menu is pretty barren (they make cold subs) and the only sides they offer are chips. They seem to do 8'' subs for the cost of a 12'' sub.

I mean that's all fine and dandy, as I like subs (as long as they don't have mayo).

I don't think it's the best. But I do like it more than Jimmy John's. Maybe it was because Inwas pretty icy starving the first time. But I've gone to both when i was jusy regular hungry. And I preferred Jersey Mike's over Jimmy John's. But like I said earlier, it's all about preference. Which can be influenced by a lot of things...

Subway is garbage. Who cares if the subs are bigger, they are shit. You make $80k a year, live with your mom and don't own a car, you don't need to be so frugal. I'd say JJ is better overall value than Subway anyway, the quality makes up for the quantity

Subway isn't good at doing hot subs either. At least Jimmy John's knows not to try

Also, the bread can fold. For meat, it 20 slices of pepperoni, 20 slices of salami, and 8 strips of bacon. All pretty thin. For cheese, it's usually about 12-16 slices(which are pretty thin) and usually a couple handfuls of two shredded. I've made subs with more, it that was when I worked there... Anyway, that's the sub I like... So, I go there to get it...

Damn dude if you eat that on a regular basis you are going to either deal with insanely high cholesterol soon or get a heart attack. I used to eat bread with cheese filled sausages for lunch all the time and then realized it was killing me when I came up with rough cholesterol despite being under 30 so I was like fuck that.

It's good. And the smell is great. The customers usually ask what it is because it smell delicious. And I love it. You can taste all the cheeses, and the meat, and the bacon sticks out pretty well, too...

Lots of people think that it would be too hard to differentiate the cheeses and meats from each other. But it's not.

Anyway, I can't get a sub like that, or taste as good as that to me from any other place...

The draw of Jimmy Johns was originally the speed of their delivery. They had funny commercials about it - like one where they got to the house before the fire fighters did, so they called a bunch of other drivers who came to put out the fire.

Ive only had their food once, it wasnt anything special and took forever to get to my house.
