I do agree that meta diversity has mostly died as Ive been facing even Pally and Warlocks with the occasional Spiteful Druid

You just missed out on the animations for that combo taking twice as long as they currently do.

Single turns could reach 5+ minutes.

Last night a star into rank 1 I faced like legend 250. I know there are at least 1400 people in legend right now. So I dont think a non legend facing someone relatively high up should happen no matter how good my recent win rate is.

Like it doesnt create a good experience for either player. Im upset because legend deck choices and tech cards are different sometimes and hes upset because Im rank 1 and losing sucks big time if hes just trying to tread rank.

When nerfs? End of May? Blizzard really has dropped the ball hard with Witchwood and year of the Raven in general. Constructed sucks, Arena has sucked and is only getting worse, Tavern Brawls suck, and Im done with Monster Hunt.

I hit legend.

I ran 5 games with cubelock and won all 5 of them.

Also, like last night. I was facing a warlock and the dude on 4 coins out doomguard and discards guldan and pact. I kill it with a polymorph. The next turn he uses another doomguard and discards 2 more cards and I kill it with a voodoo doll.

I'm like "I don't think that's how you play the deck."

Without any additional information, what can you speculate about a deck if it's 60% win rate going first and 10% win rate going second? After let's say 50 games.

It loses if it's ever behind on the board.

definitley not worth playing anymore if those numbers are accurate. assuming you'd go first and second a roughly equal number of times, that'd make your win rate well below 50%.

I guess you could continue to play that deck if you want to keep losing ranks.

It's ri-goddamn-diculous how high rolled I'm getting in this tavern brawl. Still haven't even had anything that resembled a chance to win.

In my first try, the opponent's first egg was the 1/2 that summons a random 1-drop every turn. Because of how the dyes and spawns played out with taunts, etc., I was not able to kill it for a few turns, and then he drew carrots when I didn't, and he just stomped on me.

Second try, my opponent got a damn Doomed Apprentice when he already had tempo to begin with, once again when I couldn't kill it right away, and it just completely shut me down.

Third try, I went with druid. Thought I caught a break because my opponent got a dragon egg for his first minion, but nope, he has inner rage, takes out my dude and draws a freakin' Bone Drake. My first egg was also an egg which just sat there all game. I eventually drew a Wispering Woods, which I thought might end up being OK. Nope. Play it to get a full board, and my opponent actually has whirlwind in his hand. Lol.

The stupid thing is I'm so stubborn that I want to keep playing until I win.

I was against a warrior who was playing togwaggle and explore ungoro right.

So I haven't found weapon yet and I'm getting annoyed, but I'm not currently in that much danger as I also have Rin to ruin his deck. But like one turn he just drops Togwaggle and THEN PLAYS EXPLORE UNGORO. In that order. Like I was pretty confused because I'm pretty sure that's not how it works. But maybe he was just being too clever for his own good.

Basically the entire rest of the game I just didn't use the ransom card.

Well I think usually they fill the deck with junk or like stuff that synergizes with armor that you can't utilize. So your options are play with trash cards or swap back for Explore Ungoro

Ulti is mad, and trash, like hes been for years.

He didnt talk to an employee. He talked to some janitor for Blizzard who listened to him bitch about RNG and that confirms it for Ulti.

You notice how he conveniently didnt screenshot his 12 wins? Maybe hell post his best key...or not.

Imagine taking that reddit post and having it confirm that Blizzard thinks the game is a no skill RNG garbage fest. Looooool.

Does RNG matter? Yes.

Is it the only thing that matters? No.

Ive seem snatch defeat from the jaws of victory through your misplays. That matters too.

Reynad is currently climbing with what is essentially Burn Mage with a Jaina thrown in.

Depending on the matchup, he can choose to play Aluneth to end the game quickly, or hold off until Jaina and play a control game.

Not sure how viable that is but he's up to rank 2 now and it looks fun.

I made an Asia account and played through the tutorial. Went into ranked when I got the quest to win games. Ran into like three quest rogues. Quest rogue players at rank 25/24 are bad. In any case I won every game with basic/classic paladin except against the guy who had like actual control mage.

Also I got king Krush as my first legendary, gonna get dusted but probably not until I do the pve content

When I did that, Asia was nothing but full meta decks right from the get go. EU was normal and I'd face off against players with similar non-collections to mine, but Asia was one giant 'get fucked' from game one and never let up.

Obviously thats a basic level play. Someone who downloads the game on mobile could do that. I know Hearthstone is a 0 skill game because anecdotal evidence and lies.

Also I spend tons of $$$ on it, but it totally sucks.

I don't think I'll ever be impressed by anyone playing cubelock

Finding Defile clears in a timely manner has to be the only thing in Hearthstone I feel like I'm excellent at.

I played some quest rogue. Had some awful luck in a few games (mimic podded into fan 3 games in a row and didnt have either shadowstep or vanish until like bottom 10 for all 3 games too). But also had a game against an odd paladin where I like god handed scalehide, into knives, into glacial, into sonya, which got me back scalehide and glacial, into more finish quest, into prep quest.

Also had a priest concede to me when the game started.

Quest is weird and really draw dependent

In some matches I dont finish quest until like turn 9 and others go like, turn 5. Some games I just killed early and others I beat Amnesiac when he plays Pirate Warrior (this was pre nerf)
