Took longer than I thought, 54 hours. Seemed like I was super close as only a few things were left to finish at around the 35 hour mark, but leveling up everyone's skills took forever. Particularly Gladio's Survival skill.

Also, Armiger Unleashed from the Royal Edition is ridiculously overpowered and I love it.

Grats to you! I still want to play this game (eventually). I tried the demo on PC (to see how well my rig can run it in 4k), and I'm on the fence about getting the PC version, or the PS4 version (I have a Pro).

The only plat I've ever gotten that I hated doing every step of the way. It was so easy I figured why not though.

Yeah, nothing was particularly challenging about it. It was just tedious.

Thankfully I actually kinda liked the fishing mini game, otherwise that one would have been a nightmare to complete. You have to spend forever and a day fishing to level up your skill enough.

I actually really liked it. I'll be playing the DLC next, but I won't go for all the trophies in them.

And they got me hook, line, and sinker. Since I didn't have any of the other DLC, the Royal Edition ended up not really costing me anything extra, but I agree it didn't have enough content to warrant the $25 price tag or whatever the upgrade cost.

Including most of the side quests I assume? I'm level 100 and all I have left is the Sealed dungeon in Costlemark Tower that I'm not gonna do because it sounds awful.

Also, fuck Costlemark Tower in general. I killed about a billion flans and Red Iron Giants before I figured out the proper path.

funny enough, that's probably the only part of the game I really enjoyed. I liked the exploration and such

Congrats. Hope you enjoy the DLC. Didnt enjoy the main game anywhere near enough to consider getting it myself sadly.

Easy plat as is usual for FF. Think i was at 60 something hours when done with some slight afk which is also probably about average for FF in my experience so far.

I'd have to look, but I recall the FFX plat taking forever. Pretty sure I broke 100 hours on that save file. Filling out the Sphere grid was soooo tedious and time consuming.

Yeah late 90s for me if it only had an option to activate nodes as you passed them it wouldve saved so much time. And then VII took around 30 hours. But XII, XIII, XV, and World were all in the same range for me. IX would also be in that group if i tortured myself with jump rope.

Type-0 is on the shorter end but too long ago for me to remember how short and then X-2 is closer to X's time but i hate Last Mission so no plat for me anyways. But overall 55-65 sounds about right to me for an average.

Hope VIII gets ported soon but apparently is unlikely for whatever reason.

Oh wow, the dlc is short. Just finished Episode Gladio and it didn't even take an hour. That's kinda disappointing.

Episode Prompto was better, but still short.

Episode Ignis was great, but also still really short.
