A Celica is a better bet than MR2. Same motor, but accessible to work on. Mid-engine is fun but hell for maintenance. Just put a new cam belt and water pump on my turbo Celica. Hondas have interference motors, spin off the timing belt and poof! goes the motor. A 30-40 year old car for a daily driver is a crapshoot regardless of how good a mechanic you are. It's good to have a newer beater car for a grocery-getter. --- If ballet was easy, it would be pointe-less ... Copied to Clipboard!

MR2's are fun.
