honestly the only one of the original 4 games that is really worth playing is the 4th one and i dont think the GBA collection has that one

II is super cool for the first couple of hours, then it gets super old and hard to make yourself finish.

III is badly unfinished and has awful music but one of the coolest concepts ever, and stuff happens plot-wise often enough to keep you playing.

IV is easily the best by measures like design, graphics, story and polish but still frankly a bit of a slog.

It's weird but even though it's got loads of problems III is the one I can't put down. I played it through 4 times to get all the endings. They were all the same though. Just pick a different wife at the end of genertion 1 and you can get pretty much everything there is to get out of it in 2 playthroughs instead of 4.

I'm pretty sure it has I, II, and III. Not IV.

I had a copy back in the day. Loved it even though I never beat the first two since they were too hard lol

Never played it. I hear it's decent. It wasn't on the PS2 Genesis collection though.

One is good.
Two isn't bad but the dungeons can be confusing due to the over head view and lots of obstruction. There are times where you can't tell were a path is.
I never finished three, I wasn't fond of it.
Four is amazing and should have been part of that collection. It is better then the other three out together.

4 is great
1 is fun although it shows it's age
2 is terrible to play through. The dungeons/amount of random battles are a horror. It came with a map of the dungeons originally for a reason.
3 I have never played despite owning it on a sega collection.
