Of course it's "fair," How and why? In the case of somebody like Lance Armstrong, his scandal was responsible for his personal success. In the case of Jerry Sandusky, his scandal was overlooking things happening on his team which was part of his job. Bill Cosby's failings are entirely personal. He didn't become successful because he raped women. It (presumably) didn't make him a better actor or entertainer. His career didn't benefit from it.
