Agreed with the first part.

As for the second I'm sure it's a mix of jealousy and guilt considering we foot the bill for those CEmen.

Who said it was republicans fault for homelessness in California? Not me, nor anyone Ive spoken to. Maybe the imaginary liberal in your head?

It is funny that the republican run areas of the state (outside Orange County) are shitholes aside from the rich farmers who live there.

Go over to the politics board here. And you will see lot of people blaming Republicans for California homelessness. The general consensus over there is either the "evil and cruel" Republicans hate the poor so they pass laws in their states to force the homeless to California so that "nice and virtuous" Democrats will care for them.
Or that the Republicans outright deport homeless people there

Aside from what cruelbuffalo said you want to sit here and say since the politic board on Gamefaqs said it was the republicans fault the state itself believes that?

What kind of stupid shit is this lol? Not even an article of a statement by the DNC (or any political figure period), just the words of gamefaqs users.

California's strong economic performance relative to other industrialized economies is driven by worker productivity, said Lee Ohanian, an economics professor at University of California, Los Angeles and director of UCLA's Ettinger Family Program in Macroeconomic Research. If California is doing do well, why does California have a high poverty rate?

Lets see:

-Silicon Valley is the most productive place in the world. No exaggeration.
-Alone, the Los Angeles Metro Area accounts for half the Californian gdp.
-Aerospace Industry flourishes because testing/productivity happens year round due to good weather.
-Los Angeles has the most manufacturing jobs than any other city in the US.
-Strategic seaports and large airports that makes trading easier with other countries.
-Tourism is huge. Plenty of attractions and good scenery throughout the state.
-Hollywood another economic powerhouse
-Robust agriculture (and marijuana) industry.
- Oil exporter.
- UC and Cal-state are some of the best schools and are net positive in economic terms.

There's no reason for Cali to have high levels of poverty. But when rent is so high, it knocks people into poverty levels. Some are forced to move out or go homeless.

Demand to live in California is so high. And when you have forces with vested interests influencing the housing markets, its not good. Housing projects get shut down and house prices skyrocket. California is a victim of its own success.

The only solution is to lift regulations like (affordable housing requirements and parking requirements), update outdated zoning laws and let real estate developers go crazy near mass transit like NYC and Tokyo.

But Traffic is bad. Really bad. More housings means more people. <<<< When someone runs a campaign like that, denser housing gets shut down by locals without flinching. At some point Californians have to realize that more housing will make the average Californian richer due to lower rent.

What liberal is saying income inequality is not a problem in California? Liberals in Cali vote for policy to address income inequality. Thats why rent control and affordable housing requirements exist.

Ironically socialism is on a rise even though California has been successful due to capitalism and not socialism. Rent control and subsidized housing is a form of mob-rule socialism. It doesn't benefit the state overall and its part of the reason why we have a housing crises. Thats why I suggested we need more capitalism in the housing market and not less. And I dont say that as some right-winger propagandist. Im very liberal in social issues but also a liberal in the free market.
