Like, they have a cashier and work behind the counter, then they call you up and you get your stuff yourself. At no point is there a waiter you checks on you or hands your food to you, and often there's an expectation you throw your own trash away and put the dirty dishes somewhere.

And they still ask for tips? Why? Just cause they want free money? I mean, yeah I know that's the answer to my question...but why be so obvious and tacky about it?

if people tip, cool they get tip money. if they dont, whatever. if you dont want to tip just dont.

Not what it actually means, plus that doesn't even make sense considering it's paid AFTER the fact. (That's not even counting that it seems to conflate "insure" with "ensure")
